Signature One Properties was established in January 2002, based on the principles of honesty, integrity, and of course, “service at its best”. This is the work ethic Jane Hayes brought into her Real Estate career back in 1985. Since then, many customers and clients have experienced her commitment and dedication to the business, and have chosen to repeat that experience by calling Jane with every Real Estate transaction. In her previous Real Estate company, Jane earned many prestigious awards and recognitions, and was consistently among the leaders in sales. She also earned her Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designations. Jane’s experience, and her years of service on the Ethics and Professional Standards Committee have prepared her to take on the responsibilities of Principal Broker for the company.

Steve Underwood has been licensed in Real Estate since 1987. He has worked in almost all areas of Real Estate, but now acts as the Transaction Manager. Steve has a natural interest in handling the details, and will be actively ensuring that contracts get to the closing table as effortlessly for the buyers and sellers as possible. Steve goes to inspections for both buyers and sellers, and will coordinate scheduling of all required activities such as inspections, survey, etc. Steve has kept current with the changes in the industry, such as inspection issues, environmental issues, forms changes, and all other contract issues. He has completed classes in appraising and understands the process. Steve is content to work all hours, and so is very well suited to handle the transactions for the team.

Jane & Steve work out of a home office, so they can be available whenever the customer/client has a need. They are “tech capable” with regards to scanning, e-mailing, faxing, or whatever. They are portable with laptops and cell phones, and can meet customers/clients anywhere with the ability to assist the needs on the fly. The obvious desire is to continue to provide “service at its best”, making every transaction enjoyable, exciting, and stress-free.
